Conserving water is something we all need to consider but it can make keeping the garden looking at its best a real problem. Installing a well-designed irrigation system, whether in the grounds of a private house or in gardens of a much larger scale, makes a real difference. Dense, green grass, healthy plants and lush vegetation can all be achieved using considerably less water than conventional hand watering and sprinklers. Streetscene planting can also benefit, with specially designed irrigation helping to keep hanging baskets and public flower beds looking good at all times.

A combination of drip irrigation, pop-up sprinklers and overhead sprays, all controlled on an electronic, automated timer, make sure that each area of landscaping receives the appropriate amount of water at the right time of day to really maximise the effect of every drop. In most cases, watering is carried out at night resulting in better water precipitation and much less evaporation, however top-up watering can also be scheduled during the day and strategically placed hose connection points will always allow for hand-watering if required.

Automated controls for water features can also be included on the timers and a suitably designed moving water feature such as a fountain will enhance the visual and audible attraction of a lake or pond whilst at the same time providing the necessary aeration for aquatic life and limiting the growth of green algae.

All work is carried out in such a way as to reduce the impact on existing landscaping and all the pipe work and water storage elements are concealed or disguised.
